dandelions are sprouting out everywhere right now, so we’ve named our newest color dandelion. they are commonly seen as weeds, something to pull out of the garden, but I’m taken back to the little girl who gathered fists and fists of dandelions and other weeds to artfully arrange and present to my mama. my weed arrangements always earned a place of honor as the centerpiece at dinner time, and my little siblings still cary on the tradition as I’m sure many tiny hands have. all this to say, in this weird time (I really can’t think of any better words for it) I hope you can find joy in little things that would normally pass you by, like dandelions.
