Saturday, April 20th, 6-8pm

Come and make colorful wall pockets to celebrate the coming of spring! These are perfect for uniquely displaying flowers and plants. Each student will make their very own wall pocket by cutting out and slipping and scoring slabs of clay. Students will also be able to create surface decoration using colorful underglazes.

Instructed by Melissa Wise-Miklos

Melissa Wise-Miklos is a multimedia artist who studied fine art and art history at the University of Montevallo. While she’s lived all over, she’s most recently had the pleasure of calling Northwest Arkansas home. She loves incorporating her love of craft, nature, and passed down tradition into all she does. She is an avid maker and can be found embroidering, painting, taking photographs, and developing her skills as a ceramic artist. She uniquely allows all of these different disciplines to inform her pottery and considers herself a lifelong student of art.  

All students must fill out a waiver to attend class. Waiver may be filled in advance HERE. 

*This workshop is open to ages 8+ *

*No experience necessary. items will be ready for pick up two week after the workshop*
