Description:

Create a series of porcelain ball ornaments perfect for decorating or gifting.  These ornaments will be pinch pot created and use a special technique to create a polished smooth surface.  This is a one session workshop and each piece will ultimately be ½ glazed by our staff using a color of your choice. The remaining surface will be customized by you using metallic and black sharpies (2 sharpie pens are included at pick up.) This workshop is best for folks with a little bit of experience with clay who want to explore some new handbuilding techniques and tap into their inner doodler. 

Bio:

Anya Bruhin began her ceramics journey at the University of Arkansas where she received a BA in art studio specializing in Ceramics and Photography.  She taught AP 3D Design and Ceramics at Pea Ridge High School for 11 years before coming to 5th street studio as a guest instructor.  She blends her passion for biking and ceramics in her Black Cycle Pottery line.

*This workshop is open to ages 15+ *

*No experience necessary. items will be ready for pick up two week after the workshop*
