Studio Membership is built for individuals with previous experience in pottery to have access to space and resources needed to explore their art. Recommended one year of experience or at least two 8 week classes before joining under studio membership.
The session will run for 12 weeks beginning on August 31st.
Studio staff will be responsible for communication of studio closures due to weather or holidays and adjusting the schedule accordingly. Communication will be done through email.
Studio Member Access:
During this time members will have access to studio wheels, glazes, and small equipment. Members are required to supply their own clay, clay is available for purchase through 5th Street Studio. ( Studio members will not be allowed to run large pieces of equipment such as the kiln or pug mill, all loading of the kiln or clay pugging will be done by studio technicians.)
Studio Member Weekly Access Schedule:
Please visit our FAQ here, if you have any questions about Open Studio Membership.
Note: We are taking extra precautions to make sure that everyone is safe and healthy in our space. Classes have been limited to 6 students, and we are limiting open studio membership to 6 artists. All students, instructors, and techs are required to wear a mask in the space. Tools and equipment are being sanitized between each use. We have switched to using fresh clay only for class times. Open Studio time will be on a signup basis to ensure that the studio does not become overcrowded, more details in the welcome email. Because of the limited number of individuals using the space, it will not be an issue to secure time, and open studio members will get first preference on studio hours.
