Bats, ghouls, cryptids, and fools!

Join us for night of making monsters! These jars will have lids, spoons, wings, claws, horns, and silly personalities. You’ll learn to make a lidded pot about 6” tall, a handmade scooping spoon, and how to add monster parts to your spooky friend.

These little trolls make for perfect additions to your spooky season decor and are excellent guards for protecting candy corn or sugar!

You’ll get to decorate your monster’s appendages with underglaze and pick a spooky color for glazing its scales, skin, fur, or feathers!

Workshop taught by Alex DerGazarian

Alex DerGazarian is a multimedia sculptor and a native to Arkansas. She studied art at Hendrix College and moved to Fayetteville in 2020. She loves trying out new materials and experimenting with a wide range of ideas. Alex is often inspired by the ways simple elements can form complicated, organized, and beautiful designs–but then likes to introduce a bit of chaos into the mix. Her other projects include quilting, textile work, painting, cooking and baking, and finding new life in upcycled materials.

*This workshop is open to ages 6+. Ages 6-13 must be accompanied by an adult *

*No experience necessary. items will be ready for pick up two weeks after the workshop*
